OXY SPLASH is an excellent alternative for routine shocking with chlorine. It works by breaking down chlorine byproducts and reducing chlorine consumption in pool water.
OXY SPLASH contains one of the highest percentages of Active Oxygen and is safe for frequent use in all pools & spas and swimming can resume just 15 minutes after dosing.
PLEASE NOTE: dosage rates for OXY SPLASH are lower than traditional non-chlorine shock so less product is needed to oxidize pools and spas.
WEEKLY POOL DOSE 8 oz per 10,000 gallons Broadcast directly into the pool For initial dose use double the weekly rate
WEEKLY SPA DOSE 1 oz per 500 gallons Broadcast directly into the spa For initial dose use double the weekly rate
Application Notes:
Thoroughly clean filter(s) if necessary.
Maintain balanced water: pH 7.2-7.6, Total Alkalinity 80-120 ppm, Calcium Hardness 200-400 ppm.
Broadcast OxySpash over the deep end of the pool or in the middle of the spa with pump running. Do not broadcast into the wind.
Apply when no swimmers are present, pool or spa use can resume 15 minutes after application.
Instructions For Pool Use:
Initial Application: 1 lb per 10,000 gallons. Weekly Dosage: 0.5 lb per 10,000 gallons.
Wait 15 minutes to swim.
Repeat weekly.
Instructions For Spa Use:
Thoroughly clean filter(s).
Initial Application: 2 oz per 500 gallons. Weekly Dosage: 1 oz per 500 gallons.
Repeat weekly.
Note: OxySplash can be used more often or in higher doses in times of heavy pool/spa use or foul weather.
